I need to install a new SSD to replace a failing HDD. Is some sort of drive clone software the best way to set this up?

If so, any specific recommendations?

We use Miray's HDClone at the office, but its free version is fairly slow. Macrium Reflect would be a good choice for free - and comes with the added benefit of being a good bakcup/recovery software as well.

I ended up using the free version of Macrium Reflect. Worked great, thanks for the recommendation.

But if the drive is failing/too many bad sectors it will fail.
