Are there any settings that will show the entire picture for my Dish Network local channels? This normally doesn't bother me, be I can't stand to watch games on it anymore.

Have you tried the letterbox format?

I only have stretch, partial zoom, zoom, gray bar, and normal formats. I did find an HDTV Setup section that lets me adjust the analog type, TV type, and Aspect ratios; none of the settings would format it to show the entire screen. It is only my local channels though, regular channels like ESPN display correctly.

did you try the "format" button on your remote? It's the " * " button on my remotes.

Yes, thats where I change from zoom, gray box, normal, etc. I did some more googling and noticed others have the same issue. Most are saying it's due to how the station is broadcasted and uploaded by Dish.

Sounds like you aren't getting your locals in HD

Yeah, we have the same problem at our camp. Haven't found a solution yet.

They aren't in HD. I don't have any issues with other channels that aren't HD though. Maybe it is because the station is only offered in SD and Dish's formatting messes it up. I may go buy one of the amplified antennas and use it to watch the game, I just having to swap inputs to view other channels.
