So when I moved this year, I took my 5LNB SWM dish off my old house to upgrade our tailgate.

First time out, set it up and no issues getting it aligned...picked up all locals and HD. Last two times out, I dont get locals or some HD channels.....mainly ESPN.

I sat here this AM trying to fine tune the alignment, and I have more than 90% on 101, 110, and 119. I have more than 85% on 103. However, I am getting absolutely nothing on 99. When I dither on 99, my 103 ends up going out.

What should I troubleshoot? What am I doing wrong? Could it be equipment related?

FWIW, I ran a system test, and it says there is a dish alignment problem, vut I'm stumped at this point....

Any help is appreciated.

You don't need 110 & 119. Peak the 101 high as you can get it. Then look at your readings on 99. Press the dish up/down/left/right with your thumb while watching the 99 meter to figure out which direction to dither. Do the same on 103 if the signal decreases with the 99 adjustment.

If you are missing 99 then your elevation is off, standard setting for this area is 53°, sometimes it needs to be a little higher. Also make sure whatever your dish is mounted to is level. In my experience when I can't get 99 to lock it is usually because the mount is not as level as I thought it was.

Not sure if yours is a slimline or not, but last season we had major issues trying to connect. We ended up buying a new dish that wasn`t slimline and now we hit it damn near perfect every game.
