I was using fusion because to me it seemed the most user friendly to navigate. I couldn't get very many sports streams through sportsdevil and after talking with a friend he told me about the goodfellas build. So far so good, especially with the sports streaming (watched the UFC fight Saturday on it without any problems). It has a lot on the home screens but if you've used kodi, you learn it pretty quick. Does anyone else have recommendations on different builds to try?

I am using fusion as well. I like it but I haven't gotten any reliable streams for sports on kodi. Thinking about doing Sling or PSVue

I didn't realize Fusion was a KODI build

I'm running KODI on my Nvidea Shield and running SPMC on my Fire TV. The KODI app picture looks like

SPMC looks like

I don't know if it's a build or repository..I don't know if those are the same or two different things? I do like goodfellas build though and the look of when you click on links..I'm about to have to go to work but tonight when I get off, I'll take some screen shots and try to post them.

they're both XBMC.

Fusion is just a repository.

KODI is XBMC.

Running TVMC, on Firestick and Fire TV, no problems with live streams.

I'm running the OG XBMC on a modded original Xbox.

Also running it on a Nvidia shield.

XBMC isn't OG. Xbox Media Player (XBMP) is.

Miss those days. Xecuter modchip and 250GB hard drive in my Xbox and I softmodded countless more using the 007 Agent Under Fire Savegame exploit.

I like to try different builds just to check them out.

Kinda like FireTvGuru & Pulse.

If you want to play get the Ares wizard which includes many builds. There's really no best build. Try a few & see which you prefer. There are way to many to list or try them all..LOL

Those who are using Sportsdevil: you have to manually update it yourself. It doesn't automatically update as part of a repo. That's probably why it's working better for you now. You got rid of your old version and the new Goodfellas build had a newer version. You'll probably still have to manually update Sportsdevil moving forward, though.

Here's the instructions on how to do it:

As for builds... I've found most of them to be bloatware, in my experience.

Yep. They all become crap after a while when the developer loses interest in updating it. I stay away from builds. And pigsty is right about having to update sportsdevil manually too. I have been using Flawless IPTV this month. It was pretty rough the first week or 10 days with a lot of channels not working. But the last 10 days it has been good. I watched the LSU game on it with no problems. It is a Kodi addon and you do have to pay 10 pounds ($12) per month for it but I will probably stick with it as its working pretty well now. You get every UK channel and US channel and a few Canadian channels all in HD....usually 720. You have to join their FB Group LINK and then you get access to buy a subscription.

I run CCM Pulse from the ares site, I use the ares wizard to download the build, they have a bunch of builds to choose from and addons.

A couple screen shots

You are correct. XBMP was legit til XBMC released. I need to dust mine off and hit some of my custom halo maps up one day. My setup is the same. Xecuter and 250gb seagate.

I made so much cash back at LSU when that French copy of Halo 2 dropped early. Soft-mod, $50. Took about 10 minutes each.

I'm coming around to it. I just got it integrated with Simple PVR Client so now I have a full guide for each channel. Now I am tring to figure out how to set up a PVR Backend to record stuff to my computer hard drive. I did also see where they started a USA group and the price in $19 on there. I hope they let me keep paying 10 pounds.

How is SPMC? I was thinking of diving into that to give it a shot.
