Data recovery from iPhone 6 with broken screen

My iPhone 6 screen completely shattered over the weekend. The part above touch screen broken too (around the camera and ear piece). However, the computer still has power and I can hear it receiving text messages and calls. The screen however displays nothing because it is so shattered.
Tl;DR: Is it possible to recover data from an iPhone 6 with a completely shattered, unusable screen that prevents me from typing in my security passcode?

Connect your phone to iTunes on your PC and there should be an option to back it up to the computer if it isn't already set up to do it automatically.
Then when you get the phone fixed you can restore with iTunes backup.

Yeah that won't work though because I believe I need to type in my security passcode when I try to sync to iTunes on a computer (plus the PC associated with my phone recently broke as well).

i believe you have two options. Has the phone been connected to a computer recently? If so, there is a way to reset or bypass the passcode & download the data from the phone through iTunes.
Option 2 is your data is on iCloud?
Or you might be in a similar situation as I was a few months ago. My phone had been updated since the last time I connected it to iTunes on my computer. I believe that was the reason I couldn't use iTunes to access it. I also had iCloud set to manual. I hadn't uploaded anything to the cloud in a couple of months, so I was missing a ton of data I really needed.
I had to spend $100 or so & wait a few days for my screen to be repaired before I was able to access and recover all my data.

Awesome idea. Thanks.
After all of this, Apple was able to replace the screen.
