Long story short..I fricked up something with the ANTRONIX splitter that Cox provides. The "Power 12Vdc" light doesn't come on anymore.

I now need to know whats the proper wiring I need to have on it.

How would you wire this bad boy up? Right now I have the Input as what to appears to be coming from the main source power(I'm 99% sure this is how it was before I messed with it), the output going to a splitter that's going to 2 other rooms in the house, and the Remote Power/RF Out going to my living room where my other Antronix splitter is that's linked up to my Modem.

How bad did I frick this up

Basically need to know what goes where:

Input comes from:
Output comes from:
Power 12Vdc comes from:
Remote Power / RF OUT comes from:

That's an amp, not a splitter. The "Power 12Vdc" port is for a cable from a power brick plugged into an electrical outlet. The "Input" port is for the CATV cable coming into your house from the street. The Output port goes to your equipment, most likely a splitter that distributes the signal to the rest of your house. I have no idea about the "Remote Power/RF Out" port.

Just went check and the light is now on.

I have it set up the same way..I just had to tighten the coax in the living room that went to the power amplifier in the receptacle.

ETA - Everyone is working now

Interesting, your cable modem is on an amp? What are your signal levels like? In my house, I actually need splitters/attenuators or else the power levels are too high.

If I remove attenuation from the line (splitter outside and splitter in the attic), the power levels jump out of spec. (15dbmv+)

Well, I have an amp going to a splitter, going to my modem.

Everything is working like normal. That's how it was set up, I just forgot to tighten the coax on the floor side.. I also successfully fished a new cable wire for my antenna in the house, so I'm pumped about that
