Cox cable issues?

I am in BR and my upload just went to poo.
Download is in the 30's but upload is at .45 mb.

My cox internet has been dog shite for the last 3-4 weeks. I've tried everything short of calling tech support, which I guess I'm due to attempt but I know they'll just have me reset the box again. It's really starting to piss me off. Located in Metairie, fyi.

I noticed I was having issues the last few weeks also. I called up Cox and they just sent some signals to my modem.
I went on Amazon and upgraded my modem from the basic motorola SB6141 to an Arris SB6190, capable of speeds up to 1.4 gbps.
Arris Modem
It came in and I swapped it out. It has made all the difference in the world. My D/L speedtest went from 40-55 up to 163 Mbps. Everything is working better internet wise.
You may need to look into this, and see if maybe your modem is outdated. It could be something simple as that. Cost me $100.
