Need some advice... I live in Bay St. Louis and have high speed internet only. I have the $44 package from PlayStation Vue and stream everything through 2 fire tvs... My 2 HD antennas pick up the local coast station WLOX and not much else... I need a solution for local CBS...Does anyone know of a badass HD Antenna that receives from over 60-70 miles?? TIA

Why can't you just stream the CBS sports app?

Ya...Games on CBS are nationally televised so it should stream on the app I believe. But I think the CBS app is subscription based. You gotta pay to stream live.

I've used the CBS sports app on my iPhone before to live stream a game onto my Chromecast without any kind of subscription. Not sure if it works the same on the Fire TV as I haven't tried it on mine.

Unless something has changed this year you can stream from their website and app for free. Just a heads up though. The stream has been awful the past few years even with a strong internet connection.

This is true. It cuts out fairly regularly.

You have a Fire TV? I suggest downloading KODI. On KODI, you can sign up (FOR FREE) to the USTV Now add-on. It's an add-on that has the big 4 streams. CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC.

The channels may be located in other markets like NY or something, but you should still be able to catch the game.

Aside from that, Sportsdevil and Castaway are good sports streaming add-ons.

Minor hijack....

Is there a way to know if the LSU v Wisconsin game will be on watchESPN and more importantly, to know if it will be available for replay?

I started a thread on this earlier today. It will be available on WatchESPN and all of their content is made available for replay, usually immediately after the conclusion of the event but it is posted by 1:30 AM CT at the latest.

All live games on the ESPN networks are available live on watchESPN with a credential.

I'm going to be coming back into the country on a flight that day, so finding a replay was a big deal

Here's the thread just in case it helps you out:

You should look up some antenna forums. There is probably a solution for you on how to get that kind of distance legitimately

You need a multi direction antenna. WlOX is at 26 degrees and WWL 237 degrees. So ABC and Fox are one direction and CBS & NBC are another direction. Get something like this

8 Element Bowtie Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna - 70 Mile Range

I'm confused I thought wlox has CBS.

I picked up the Biloxi stations one night in Covington And wlox was both abc and CBS. One was the secondary channel.

I want to say 13-1 and 13-2

Try searching for channels again

TV Fool doesn't seem to have it updated in your link but I promise 13-2 is a CBS channel so search for channels again. Unless they took it away in the past 2 weeks.

It's still on the WLOX website

There are Amps you can buy for a signal boost. The good ones are around $60. It'll help draw in weak channels.

Also use your compass to point the antenna to the best station and its coordinates which is found online. Most of the main channels are in the same patch of placement usually

Mohu Sky 60, if you can't just watch through CBS's streaming app, assuming they have one.
