its it possible to run one coaxial cable and splice in Cox Internet and DirecTv's feeds and have it work throughout the whole house?

No bc they're two different types of signals, satellite and cable. If you had only Cox for both then yeah.

No. With modern directv systems, especially genie systems it won't work. I had charter drop a separate cable for Internet. Cost like $30

Here's how to do it. Use MoCA adapters and you're good to go.
How to combine DirecTV and Ethernet on one coaxial cable.
I have a MoCA network throughout my entire house. It works great.

Where are you at? I have some diplexers that you could test out to see if it would work.

So pretty much all you need is to buy that kit and you can run Internet through the same line? Or did that only work bc he had the directv wifi adapter?

The DECA adapter is key.
