Closeout/cheap audio? Now outdoor speakers

I need to replace the stuff I use for outdoors. I really just need a basic receiver with at least aux input, but Bluetooth would be nice. Also outdoor speakers. Woot doesn't have a lot right now. Where else can I look?

I'd go to a pawn shop and buy an older receiver of a reputable brand, and old Sansui would be epic. Make sure it's heavy as frick and still works. Offer them almost nothing and work from there.
You don't need an AUX input, you can just buy a 3.5 mm to RCA cable.

It's been pretty reliable with my Nyne Bass. I have never used it with a stereo receiver though. I mostly put in 5 discs in a changer and let it do random. Mostly for background music that no one is paying too too much attention to.

You want a USB input? I thought you meant 3.5 to 3.5 AUX input, just saying you don't need that little jack because it's effectively the same as having RCA on the other end and going into DVD or Tape or any other input.

you listen to shitty music anyway so what does it matter?

I like the shitty music to be heard.

Just so you know, the RCA connection is better. Your recent use is skewing actual physics.
ETA: if you want to hear it then buy an old bomb-arse receiver and pair it with some modern bookshelf speakers you protect from the elements. Bigger cabinet the better.

You're arguing against every single integrated amplifier manufacturer on the planet, but OK. My $1k integrated amp, receivers aren't even real things in Hi-Fi anymore, doesn't have an AUX in and it sounds amazing with devices connected with 3.5 to RCA cabling. I'm absolutely not being contrary here.

OK, that's great. That doesn't change the fact that I need a new receiver(current one doesn't work properly) , and I would like it to have an aux input. It's really that simple. I'm not arguing against anything. I trying to get you to understand how crazy you are.

FWIW I don't think you can find a modern, POS, receiver without a 3.5 mm AUX in, so it's a moot point. The RCA vs 3.5 connection argument that you're trying to make is bizarre. One is more susceptible corrosion is I think your premise but your one data point is completely irrelevant in changing overall audio interconnect theory.

Gaston. Calm down for just one second and stop shaking. Accept the facts which are:
Alx owns a receiver that is not working satisfactorily.
Alx needs and desires a new receiver.
Alx would like to be able to use 3.5mm even if it is not the best mode of data transfer.
Alx desires places that sell these items to consumers in exchange for legal tender.
The end.

I've got an old turntable in my storage unit. Will that work? it has some wires on the back. You can have it for free.
