I had no complaints till this week. It's been going out all week, both at home and the office.

But one of our other offices has been struggling this week with their cox internet too, so maybe there's something else up.

I've had issues with them for the past two years and since I've been off for summer it has been worse.
If they were not the only internet provider in my area I would switch, however, my options are Hughes Net or Charter which sucks.

I've lost internet so often this summer while watching the Euro's and what not.

Tdeucen, it could be worse. You could be stuck with ATT DSL at a whopping 5.3 mbs.

To make matters worse, they put up signs that said gigabit was coming, came out last month and tore up my yard running conduit and fiber. A month later, no one with ATT can tell me when the gigabit will be working and available.

And they still haven't fixed the mess they made in my front yard.

I have been with Charter since they have been in La. My experience is that they are always getting better and their prices are very competitive. But one caveat. Don't even think about trying their VOIP phone option. I don't think they worked all of the bugs out. But they are light years ahead of Comcast in terms of value and customer service.

Coming from AT&T previously I am loving charter Internet. It goes out every once in a while but still
Light years better than dsl.

I have had uverse for four years now with minimal issues. My contract is up in October and I'm gonna cut the cord. Was wondering if I should keep my AT&T Internet or switch to Xfinty internet.

Any recommendations?

Pretty sure Metrocast is the worst.

I live out near Donaldsonville and Charter is the only provider, they know it so the service is shitty, the product is shitty. I bought my own router/modem because the one they had kept giving me problems, now when I call they blame my router and modem.
That is their easy solution for whatever is wrong, I finally got someone out here and they realized their cable line was old and that was my issue. Now the issue is apparent because they have more people switching to them the network can't handle it causing my outages.

Every time I call the person gives a new excuse, I am tired of dealing with them.
