CBS "All access" - no live TV support in your area

So I signed up for this all access thing to stream the game tomorrow because it says you can stream CBS live including sports events. So I try it on my work PC just to verify that it works and it tells me they don't offer live streaming in my area.

What could be the reason for this? If I pay for the service and have the bandwidth to stream why can't I?

Additionally are there any other options for me to stream it? I tried going the "legit" route and it seems to have been a waste of my time.

Do they geolocate your IP?

Evidently

I tried the app on my phone and got the same BS message

Is there any reason that you can think of why they wouldn't provide the service to certain areas?

Yeah, I think they stream your local affiliate, and all access isn't available in all markets yet.

do you have xfinity?

download the xfinity tv app and then if you're saving it to your DVR from home, just play the DVR recording from your phone or whatnot.

it should be work as long as you're watching the DVR and not trying to watch 'live' from a remote network...you'll just be a few minutes behind.

eta just tried it out..i'm watching the LSU/MS State recording at work right now...you just can't 'live tune' it but you can play your dvr recordings.

We watched all of the 2:30 CBS games at our tailgate last year using the app on an iPad without signing up for anything. Either they changed the service for this year, or b/c the game is local they don't allow it. We never tried watching an LSU game, just the other SEC ones.
