My wife's birthday is coming up and she has been dropping hints about a wanting a new camera. I assume more megapixels is better (18-24) and more frames per second. This is mainly for getting pics of the kids playing soccer and other sports. Obviously we aren't experts and any advice is appreciated!
TIA.
TIA.

The size of the sensor is more important than the megapixels. frames per second will be for video mode.

FPS also refers to burst mode which is what I presume he is asking about. It's very useful in sports photography.
