What's the best portable Bluetooth speaker for under $200.00? It will be used on the back patio while hanging out and/or in the pool.

Jawbone Jambox is pretty nice. I have the Big Jambox but it's $299. You can get the Mini Jambox for $129 and later on add another and play them as a pair.
I will caution you that pools tend to be noisy areas especially with kids and you may not be able to produce the volume level you want.

I bought one from Bookstone with a dock. I don't remember the name or model but it was $169 and it has a handle at the top.

The SOL Republic/Motorola Deck is pretty good. It has really good sound (IMO it does but I'm far from an audiophile) and it can pair up to 5 devices at a time and anyone can start what they want at any time.

I'm currently in the market as well... I have it narrowed down to the UE Megaboom and the Bose Soundlink III. Like the ruggedness of the UE Megaboom (waterproof), but prefer the sound of the Bose. It's a tough call...

I have a Bose soundlink. Amazing how much bass comes out of that thing

Check on woot.com today. There's the Big jawbone jambox for $179. I didn't check if it was new or reconditioned though.

The other day I got an Auvio Bluetooth speaker from radio shack for my back patio.. it was 99 bucks sounds fantastic for a portable speaker... Plus if your phone is connected and someone texts you. It will read the text and has a a mic so you can message back..if your hands happen to be full.. I was painting my back patio and that feature came in handy

ION Speaker
One of the best Christmas presents I have ever received. I had no idea about it. I have had mine for two years now and I have brought it to fishing camps and trips, tailgates, everywhere.
