PhoneArena taking votes: LINK

The comments are pretty sad and entertaining. Obviously we know which is which, so the "blind" charade is pointless.

How do we know which is which?

Well, at its most basic -- The iPhone 6 camera takes 8MP photos vs. 16MP for the S6, so the S6 takes a sharper photo which can be seen clear as day in the zoomed samples. The S6's aperture is also wider, which results in brighter photos (and arguably poorer color reproduction in bright outdoor lighting).

What's the point of comparing the two then?

Every single one of my friends who own an iPhone constantly tell me how "the iPhone camera is the best camera on any phone anywhere, bar none" like it's a forgone conclusion. I like this kind of test to keep them honest.

For the PhoneArena comment shitstorm apparently. They do it often. 6 phones compared -- Lumia 930, Note 4, 6 Plus, Nexus 6, Galaxy S5, HTC M9

In that test, the 6 Plus edged out the Nexus 6 (though the Lumia and Note stole the show), but in a previous test that just compared the two alone, the Nexus 6 won. The flaws in these tests are the voters themselves, unfortunately. People are so passionate about their phones that they're not only defensive of theirs, but also want you to feel stupid for buying yours.

So a newer phone with a higher MP (for zooms and cropping) has a better camera than the older phone?

OH frick, NEWS! CNN just had a breaking alert. Between that and a white woman acting black, I feel so complete on shite that matters in my life.

Check how old the Lumia is and how well it performed.

I couldn't tell a difference TBH. My buddy has a Samsung and I've always thought the pictures looked better.

Pictures are one of the more used features on a phone besides the obvious phone and text functions.
