Bitlocker gone bad
Posted by b-rab2 on 6/5/17 at 7:56 pm00
I was trying to encrypt a harddrive that had a lot of valuable info on it. I corrupted and now I'm fighting to get my info back. I bought a larger hard drive to transfer.
I went to CMD.exe and ran as admin: typed in: repair-bde G: H: -pw -Force
Now its telling me I must format my harddrive. Is this the correct thing to do? Once I format I will lose everything correct?

If you're talking about the existing corrupted drive, you are correct
