Note being formally announced on the 2nd, and should go on sale 2-3 weeks later.

Let the hate run though you.

I would at least wait to see the official Note release then decide.

Hopefully it has Qualcom's Snap dragon and not the Exynos.
The 820 pushed pixels better on QHD panels better than the Exynos 8890 in the the Galaxy S7 models. The Exynos are more battery friendly, because of the better use lower power cores.

I'd like to see a 4000 mah battery with the snapdragon 821 or 823 and the return of an IR
blaster and a base model of 64gb.

My wife's Exynos S7 is handling it just fine. Hell, my 805 phone works just as well on QHD and it's half as fast. My battery just drains a lot faster than hers running 3d games. I would take the efficiency any day. Performance differences in flagship processors are marginal and overblown.

The Exynos in the Galaxy S6 edge I had was awful after about 1 month. It was laggy and stutter a lot. Especially any time I used any keyboard other than the stock samsung one. It was unbearable and I sold it and bought the Nexus 6p. The S7 edge with snapdragon 820 is flawless.

Note is the better phone. I have the Note Edge and am hoping they come out with v2 this year. The Edge screen is actually functional on the Note. But either way, the Note is their premiere phone.

Ive had the note edge for almost 2 years. My contract is up in october. So, Im thinking of getting the new note.

Does it have a removable battery and sd card slot? I know the s7s did not and I like the options.

I'm pretty sure the Note will again have the removable battery and SD. You don't want the Note Edge again if they have a v2?

I'm going with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 personally....I just enjoy having the stylus. Besides, I just can't imagine having an iPhone now, I feel like I'd be betraying my personal values.

My apologies. They have a new edge out and people love it. Reviews are off the chart. Camera rates better than on any other mobile device by many reviews.

Water resistant basically water proof and has an SD card slot.

I'll wait til prices come down I suppose.
