ATT Uverse vs XFinity...

Ok so ATT is rolling out Fiber in our area and is offering TV and Internet. I currently have Comcast for both and its ok just a little pricey.
What can you tell me about your experience (if any) with ATT TV and Internet service with their Fiber? I am particularly interested in contrasting that experience with Comcast.
Thanks in advance for your input...

Uverse TV is a great amount of content for the money. Uverse internet (fiber or not) is unreliable. My parents have had Uverse for 4+ years now and like it overall.
However, their internet regularly tested at 5-7 Mbps, despite paying for 12 - 18 Mbps. This was in spite of multiple service calls. The explanation was "congestion" (i.e. too many people on a single node).
Unless they're rolling out gigapower in your area or you keep them honest and make them give you the range you paid for, Comcast offers steady speeds.
So, TV wise, it's ATT no contest. Internet, Comcast no contest.

We have UVerse because it was the only thing available at our apartment and Comcast has not pulled lines to our new subdivision yet. We had Comcast for 5+ years at the old house.
Uverse U450 TV is excellent. Tons of channel options, especially in the movie channels, including the west coast feeds in case you missed the start of a movie. Also they have been doing dedicated channels during the RNC and DNC that simply streams the audio and video from the convention, no talking heads commenting, no text bites at the bottom of the screen.
Uverse Internet, I don't remember if we are paying for 45 or 65 MB, but a speed test just now gave me 51 down and almost 5 up.
So far Uverse customer service beats Comcast hands down as well.
I will say Comcast OnDemand is much better. Uverse doen't have near the HD on demand, even for expanded basic stations like ABC Family, etc.

What are y'all currently paying for Uverse? My promo 2-year bundle is coming to an end and they are trying to up my pricing by $30/month.
Told them I could get Comcast for the same price I had been paying and with 3x fast internet and they basically told me to go frick myself.

I posed the same question a few weeks ago and havent pulled the trigger. AT&T is offering for like 120 a month 100mbps internet and Direct Tv choice if you sign up for 2 years. Considering im spending 70 a month on 75mbps comcast and an additional 80 for like top 200 on dish for tv this is getting interesting. That 1gb internet is temping to for an additional 20 a month.
