Going to work in North Carolina for 3 months starting 9/8/14. Will be working 7/12s but usually have a few nights off. How many GB would I need to stream football games? I'm thinking the most there is. Here is the issue. I have unlimited AT&T and don't want to switch my plan that I'm grandfathered into. Should I just go to verizon to avoid the hassle?

You probably want to look into an additional wireless data plan through a carrier or someone like Clear. You'll need a lot of data and your unlimited with AT&T will likely hit the throttling cap.

I'm in the same boat as you with unlimited ATT data. If I ever bite the bullet for a portable hotspot it will be the karma pay as you go.

My personal wifi is ATT and my business wifi is Verizon.

I like the Verizon better.
