I am currently using DirecTv Now. I didn't wait until they announced any info about our employee discount because I figured the free Apple TV promo would be over by then. I'm using it via wifi on the Apple TV over a 45mb connection and have no issues at all. I was previously using it hardwired again with no issues, so having it hardwired to a gateway being fed with a fiber connection would be great as well.

Netflix streaming of 4K content would be much better for someone subscribing to fiber speeds of 100mbps to 1gbps compared to a traditional copper uverse customer.

btw here is the screenshot of the wifi speedtest for the customer I installed the other day that was getting 1gbps. Funny thing is that many of our customers in the new fiber areas sign up for speeds less than 100mbps. Most of them are coming from old dsl so the 45mbps plan is a huge upgrade for them lol.

at the people who can't wait to get rid of Cox for AT&T because of customer service. Just wait until your first billing issue, your first technical problem, etc. AT&T support is a joke. Left had doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I run an IT firm, we have over 100 small business clients, so I have plenty of experience with ATT and Cox.

I have AT&T bundle of 100 MBPS Internet, Uverse 300 and unlimited home phone. Customer Service is from the Phillipines. Hard to understand them most of the time.

I manage our accounts, and I will say at the business/enterprise level, AT&T manages to make their billing so confusing you can barely make sense of it.

But at home, I have their 1Gb fiber, and 0 billing issues. But I will second your sentiments at the enterprise level. We have finally completely removed AT&T from the equation for our circuits. Just have wireless left.
