Just got an appletv as a gift. I tried lurking around to find the best way to get the most out of it. I'm graduating next week and sick of getting boned by Cox.
What's yalls best way to set this bad boy up to get the most tv after I get rid of cable? Is directv now the best right now with that deal?

I'm in the same boat. The biggest thing I wish you could do is Auto-start an app when it turns on. So for example, start appleTV and have it auto-start DTVNow or SlingTV. Then it's just like turning on a cable set top box.
That would be ideal for me and especially my mother and my in laws since they're practically scared of the Amazon FireTV and the AppleTVs.

When I press a button on my ATV4 remote, it turns my tv on. By the time the picture pops up, the highlighted app is DTVNOW. Cant get much more convent than that
