Their deals are interesting, to say the least.

Indeed they are but you can only use one of their two Moto phones.

I noticed that too. I'm going to be spending the next few days mulling over the pros and cons of that.

I'd be interested in knowing what you find out. I've come across a few other references--all favorable--to this company.

I used it for a year. My daughter has it now. It's great except for needing to rely on the Sprint network for cell coverage.

What they mean by unlimited WiFi is that when you're connected to WiFi, none of your minutes or txt count against your plan usage.

I've gone forward and ordered this today. I ordered the Moto X in black and didn't special order it so it's supposed to arrive in 2 days and, due to their current deal, they'll send a free Google Chromecast with it (if you special order the Moto X, the Chromecast deal doesn't apply). I'm starting out on the $25/month deal and I'm gonna see how the next 2 weeks works. If it does, then Verizon can kiss my arse (I've been with them for 14 years). I live in the suburbs of Chicago and work in the city so if I need Sprint's support, hopefully I'll get decent reception...we'll see if it's worth the $25 or $40 per month but from all I've read, I'm optimistic that this will work out well for me personally as I'm not a heavy user of my phone for data purposes.

Will keep the Tech Board posted on my experience with this company.

I have an old plan with Verizon and I pay $70/month. I get 250 minutes with free nights and weekends and free family. Also have unlimited txt and data. The unlimited data is the main reason I'm staying with them. I've also never had any problems with their service during crowded events (tailgating, Mardi Gras) like other carriers have.

Ting has some smoking deals if you haven't checked them out.

They use Sprints network which works like shite where I live at. That's why I don't use them.

I currently have this with 450 minutes and, with taxes, pay about $80 per month. I was looking into Verizon's $45 per month plan with no contract but would've needed to purchase the phone too (same price of $300 upfront). We'll see how it goes. I have 30 days with Republic to see what I think of it and if I don't like it I can walk away and refunded for the phone. I'll get a new phone number with Republic and I'll keep my Verizon account for the next 2-3 weeks so it'll cost a little more for now but I don't want to change my number over to Republic until I know how the service works out.

I looked into Ting too and I'm not sure how I feel about them at this time.
