I have a hitachi that is working but it's adding has a reddish hue to everything. Would like to get it looked at before Saturday.

Keep the reddish hue--that way Bama wins either way.

Is it led or DLP? Does it have a bulb? May be starting to go.

I'll be honest I'm not sure with all the ins and outs of this unit because it was already present when I arrived. it is a hitachi cpx-995 led projector. Was top of the line about a decade ago. Will upgrade it eventually but it has a custom box that electronically travels into the ceiling when not in use that the newer models may be a little big for.

Owyls is in Mandeville but they actually come to you for repairs and have great customer service. They can do anything.

do you happen to have a replacement bulb handy you can try?
three things affect color
film
lens
bulb
not likely the lens magically changed color
the film could be old...not much to do about that
so the bulb is the easiest to test
good luck

That XGA projector can be replaced for $50 - $100 on eBay. Check Craigslist in your area, too.
