Anybody have an iPhone that doesn't charge properly?

iPhone 6
Doesn't appear to charge as quickly as it should. I've checked the charger, and there's a little black spot on both sides of the contact right in the middle.
Thanks for any input.

Mine wasn't charging correctly for a while so I gently stuck a paper clip in there and pulled out a bunch of lint from carrying the phone in my pocket.

One good charging tip is to use the Ipad hub to charge your phone. Allegedly it will charge your phone faster.
