I use sennheiser HDR160 for the same situation. Very happy with them.

I bought this from amazon, 35 bucks. Have been using for six months in the bedroom with no problems. Just need to be in front of the transmitter and not move around.

For RF, Sennheiser SET840 are OK. Not cheap, though.
For Bluetooth, you want aptX Low Latency for both transmitter and headphones to avoid major lip sync problems.
