I am well versed in our ancient Sage Mas500 ERP system but have been bitching about an upgrade for a while.
I just got word that we will be transferring to Global Shop ERP, which is supposed to be extremely detailed, not sure on the user friendliness yet.
Just wondering if any of you are using Global Shop and what you think.

Yes, I am actually the Director of our system. It singlehandedly allows me to run every single aspect of our company from estimating all the way through accounting.
It's awesome. Implementation was a bitch though, more-so due to our antiquated/disjointed old system.
Highly recommend sending as many employees as possible to their free weekly "bootcamps" in the Woodlands.
Need an employee at your place dedicated to implementing/administrating the system.
It's centered on inventory control, so if your inventory is off then the system is off. But it does an extremely efficient job at controlling inventory. It is also transactional based, so every transaction in the system is tied directly into the accounting/GL. You can generate financial statements at anytime and be very comfortable with their accuracy.
