I still have my student email for a few more weeks and I'm considering getting the full cloud package. The only three things I want are Premiere, Lightroom and Photoshop. Would I be better off purchasing the old version of lightroom and just doing the monthly $19.99 for premiere? If I had lightroom, that may eliminate my need for photoshop.
Also, how exactly does cloud work? Am I running it as a normal app on the computer or does it stream from their server? Just wondering how fast/slow this may make my computer.

What are your intentions with the programs? I need to know to recommend what you will need...
You download the programs and they are installed on you computer. The app just allows you to download others and has some other features like fonts and a portfolio page.

I don't use lightroom, so I don't know too much about it. But photoshop has a lot of great tools for editing. I believe lightroom helps you categorize stuff.
I got the student discount for 19.99/mo for everything. So I would get that while you can, then decide if you want to drop down after the year is up.

Thats a solid idea. For 19.99 it was hard to beat everything. Thanks!

If you start video editing more you will want to use after effects too. It's a really awesome program.
