6 Plus - IC board issue (screen glitch/no touch)

I have an iPhone 6+ and about a week ago the touch randomly stopped working. At the same time I started getting a top screen glitch. I'm out of warranty and apparently the deal is an IC Pm chip.
I'm fairly confident doing standard solder work, but watching the videos, this is totally different than the stuff I've done. I can get the phone to work with gentle pressure, so I'm even typing this message on it. Is it worth trying to replace the chip? Do any repair shops get into chip replacement or too advanced for them? The part is all of $15, but I'd need to buy a hot air desolder gun I believe. (Found Chinese one for $35)

Bring it to Nortech , most likely can get it taken care of under warranty. It's a known issue.
