He still has another year on his deal so unless MLS is willing to shell out big $$ for the transfer fee it's not happening until after Euro 2016 at the soonest.

Someone will pay him close to 5.

Pretty sure the overall net is pretty comparable with Euro Taxes isn't it? You would know better but its close to or more than he'd get on his next contract.

He's getting up there in age..

He made 14 million euro this year. Teams load the contracts with bonuses to get around the taxes.

MLS does over pay for older guys but 10 million dollars a year is what your looking at for him.
