Glad to see that he's pushing himself. This is the kind of attitude that Jurgy loves.

He'll have a tough time cracking the first team at Arsenal, but before last season, I wouldn't have predicted Coquelin would be one of the first names on the team sheet week in, week out.
I hope he does make it at Arsenal, though. He's got a great chance. Our current depth in central midfield will make it tough, but also make it that much sweeter if he comes through.

yea id like to see him on loan for a year getting regular first team action.

My favorite part about that interview was where he kind of got an attitude about the national team bowing out and he mentioned something along the lines of that the U20 team should be making finals and winning tournaments and nothing else.
I like his fire and the kid is emerging to be a leader in our younger ranks.

I like the confidence. Very excited to see what he can accomplish in the coming years.

I have no clue. I tried to fix it, but didn't work.

You even turned your sig and the time edited message into a link. You, sir, are a wizard.

So does he expect to supplant Ozil, Wilshere, Ramsay or Cazorla in midfield? I like his attitude but starting at Arsenal is not realistic for him next year.

It's Arsenal, all of those guys could get hurt in the first week of the season

I think Cazorla moves on this summer. That leaves Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamblerlain, Coquelin, Arteta, Flamini and anyone else we buy or that I'm forgetting at the moment.
With our injury history, it's not impossible he'd get some time.
That said, it's not realistic at this point, no, nor something any Arsenal fan would hope for.

Cazorla was probably our best player this year after Sanchez. I'm not sure why everyone acts like it's a foregone conclusion that he leaves. He doesn't rely on his athleticism and I could see him staying a while like Rosicky.

I'm just basing that on the fact that every Arsecast hints that he's leaving. Maybe they're just talking out of their arse, as they're prone to do.

There have been rumors that he wants to go finish his career up in Spain, but I hope there is nothing to it

Re this link on another thread: If Zelalem doesn't make the Arsenal first team next season, is he good enough now to go on loan to a relegation-level PL side and see significant playing time?
****EDIT****
Sorry. Meant to post this on the Arsenal season-long. No problem. I'll leave it here too.

I'm going to use years of software engineering expertise and tons of hours of debugging to advise you to close your link tag.
Currently, it is "[/link" when it should be "[/link]". Until the tag is closed, it thinks the post is all a part of the text.

Loan to MLS please. It's win-win-win. He definitely gets playing time, his profile is raised in the USA, Arsenal sees him develop in an easier environment and gets more US fans as a result.
