Kitchen might not get any more European action this season. After drawing 0-0 in Malta, Hearts inexplicably 2-0 down at home against Birkirkara with 20 minutes left chasing 3 goals.

Hendo, you think Julian gets first team minutes this year like that tweet suggests? Kid needs to play regularly and not with the youth team

There was a goalkeeper from Atlanta that played with the U-20s last year, but he didn't stick around.

Outside of Kitchen, there is Scott Pittman, a dual international who played in the Championship for Livingston. Another who plays in the 3rd division.

Not sure why more Americans didn't play in Scotland. Last one I remember was Beasley years ago. That's all I got.

Because it's not a good league.

Irrelevant. We have more people in Scandinavian leagues, Egypt, and Iceland than Scotland. Those leagues aren't any better.

I'm guessing Steffen will have a shot at being the #1 Keeper.

And those people also won't be significant contributors to the us national team.

I understand your point, but we have notable players at Molde (Ethan Horvath and Joshua Gatt). No reason players can't have success in these leagues before hopefully moving to a bigger league in Europe.
