Superb was a stretch. He wasn't on the ball a ton or under much pressure. But yeah, no idea what happened.

Injury news on #usmnt mid Perry Kitchen is decent: left yesterday's game with "tweaked" hamstring. Hearts expects him back in a week or two

Is perry kitchen a legit option for us in the future? I don't like my boys playing in a shite league that is Scotland. What's the buzz with this guy?

Yes. He's still kind of young. If he does well, he won't be in Scotland much longer.

But the good thing is that we have a ton of CM options for the future.

IIRC, he tried to sign with someone in Germany, but there was some complication.

Perry Kitchen is a quality player. He logged more minutes than any other player in MLS during his last three years at DC United and that experience immensely helped his development. As he began to age out of his early 20s he decided to make the move to Europe in an effort to broaden his experience. I like the move. The fact that he will continue to log first team minutes is critical.

He was very close to completing a move to FC Copenhagen in the Danish league but terms fell apart toward the end and Midlothian is where he landed. Just how high his level is remains to be seen. Is he a Kyle Beckerman? A Danny Williams? Perhaps a level above those guys? The next two years are pivotal for him.

I mean, I know people here hate on SPFL, but it's not like Superliga is any better.

Yes, I did not mean to cast the Scottish league in a negative light. Copenhagen might have been a better experience because it may offer a better chance of CL or Europa?

Probably. He'll get to Europe there regardless. At least for this year and next while Rangers are still poor.

And Green scores a tap-in goal. Robben's shot parried right to him and he taps it in.
