Paul Carr ?@PCarrESPN 2m2 minutes ago
Aron Johannsson is the 1st American with 2 Bundesliga goals by end of Sept. since Fabian Johnson in 2012. Before that: Tony Sanneh in 2002.

Time to give Zalalem a shot at CAM on the national team

May want to rethink that after his showing against a real team tonight...

Yedlin with the assist !!! Best player out there for Sunderland right now. Had a nice back track to stop an Aguero goal which would have been 5-0

Stop on Aguero

Assist

Yedlin looked great. I hope he gets some defensive sensibilities because he looked great going forward. Should have had another assist as well.

Zelalem

Will never play meaningful minutes in the EPL. He was totally outclassed by fricking St. Johnstone (I actually watched that match, unlike everyone else on here). And he looks like a starving child.

It would be best if you all lower your expectations for him.

Where am I wrong?

Y'all can permaban me if he starts 10 EPL matches for Arsenal. He's not good.

He's slow, he's tiny, he dives, he's afraid to shoot, he has a mediocre-at-best range of passing, and he offers next to nothing defensively.

Also, his hair makes him look like a toilet brush.

First off here is every damn touch he made in the game LINK. He was far from "outclassed."

Making a permaban bet on something that likely doesn't have a chance of happening for the next 3 or 4 years.

The Ox can't make the starting lineup because we already have too many damn midfielders even with Wilshere out.

quote:

he's tiny

He is undersized at 18 years old

quote:

he dives

Wow so he just like majority of players

quote:

he's afraid to shoot,

In the game you spoke about he cranked one from outside the box that just went wide. He isn't some box to box mf that is going to pop up and score you goals, but there are plenty of mf's that are just fine that way.

Hell he is playing the same position that Cazorla plays for Arsenal and we've just been lucky if he gets the shot on target. He's only scored one goal from open play in the last year.

quote:

he has a mediocre-at-best range of passing

Okay this one is easily the most hilarious of your points. You are trying to base this on one game when in reality (where most people live) it has be proven that this is by far his strongest skill set along with his touch and vision. The people at Arsenal laud him over his ability to pick out a pass.

quote:

he offers next to nothing defensively.

This is his first year ever playing so deep. This is all new to him, hence having to be loaned Rangers over a championship side in England.

None of this trash would be spewed by you if he wasn't at Rangers.

He's not good. I'd say the same thing if he was at Celtic. He's just not good.
