Harbinger of progress or not a significant development?

All depends on how those players develop, if 4 hit, then it's a huge success.

I wouldn't read too much into it either way, all things considered they didn't fair much better than the senior team did in Brazil, but there is no doubt that the talent level is increasing

If Zelalem, Hyndman and CCV all continue to develop, it'll be legit. Steffen, Rubin and a few others would be really nice as well.

CCV, Hyndman, Steffen, Rubin, Tall, Zelalem, and Payne all seem to be great talents. Time will tell.

The last time we got to the quarters in this competition was the year we had Bradley, Altidore, and Adu on the team.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that EPB was on the team as well. With Brooks (22), Alvarado (22), EPB (18), Miazga (19), and CCV (17), we are stacked at CB for the foreseeable future.

I don't put that much stock in the youth WC results. In 2013, Iraq made the semis and an England team featuring Harry Kane and Ross Barkley finished last in their group. I do like to watch the individual players since most of what I knew about players like Hyndman, Zelalem, and EPB going into the tournament was second-hand.
