When is the Barclays schedule posted?

How much are tickets?

Are gameday tickets available?

Schedules should come out during the summer in plenty of time for you to plan.

Price and availability depends on who you'll want to see and when.

It wasn't Germany or England, but when I went to a PSG match in December, I bought tickets a couple months ahead of time. I got to sit where I wanted and the admission into the stadium went smoothly.

Just to add (others might be able to offer other advice), but a lot of big clubs are partnered with ticket exchange sites.

You might have to pay some fees, but at least you'll know it's legit, you'll have a seat and you might find a bargain.

Generally speaking, EPL tickets are very pricey, whereas Bundesliga tickets are cheap. Any big club have quite pricey tickets no matter where. It all depends on where you are going. Getting Tickets on gameday are highly risky because clubs often close the box office and touts are never a sure thing. Just get the ticket in advance for your own sake.

Good experiences in Germany:
Eintracht Frankfurt
Wolfsburg
Hertha Berlin
BVB
Gladbach
Kaiserslautern (I know they are in 2.BL, but a fantastic fanbase)
Bayern (That is if you can get the tickets)
Freiburg

Don't even bother:
Stuttgart
Bayer 04 (Very corporate and very quiet. Probably the worst fan experience I have ever been to.)

Yeah they're all about that family friendly atmosphere. Its a largely boring experience unless you want to bring children.

It was really like going to a funeral. No one was shouting. No one was screaming at the top of the lungs. No chanting. Nothing. Even a Chivas USA game had more atmosphere. That huge corporate behemoth Bayer AG is just down the road from BayArena. Just a gigantic complex of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, manufacturing, and corporate offices. That is fine and all that families have an option to go to a game without too much obnoxious behavior, but I need a little more spice than that.

For any big epl club you need to buy a membership which gives you the right to buy tickets. Also keep in mind the game days and times for the epl are not set in stone until around a month prior.

As for Germany tickets just depends. But almost every club delivers an amazing game day atmosphere. Dortmund tickets are very hard to come by. Bayern tickets are through the roof expensive. Smaller clubs you might be able to buy on match day. If you go to a 2 division match its no problem.

Also remember ticket scalping or as they call touting here is very illegal in the UK.

Websites like viagogo are good but can be pricey but it can cut the membership process out. Clubs like United you can only get vip/club seats on those sites. But a club like city you can get a steal sometimes ticket as low as 20£

Compared to what an American like the OP is used to paying, I don't think that's true. It's going to depend on the game obviously but at worst it will be on par or slightly lower than what you would pay for an NFL game.

Whatever. If I say today is Saturday, you would tell me no, today is Sunday in Australia.

Any comments on the atmosphere at Karlsruhe?
I'm going to be going there a couple of times in 2015.
I know they are second division.
TIA

If I had to pick one game in Germany, I'd pick Kaiserslautern.

Ten four, I've been there before but not seen a match there. It's not too far from Karlsruhe. Lots of American presence there too.

Thanks for the tip.
