Sadly, my seats are directly across from the bench, instead of directly behind them.

Mrs. Sheep (and Jurgen, probably ) are happy about this.

We would have preferred Seattle for the game, but we've been to Seattle already, so SLC was a good second choice.

Cleveland sucks, Hartford sucks, we've been to DC (and RFK is a dump.) KC sucks (city-wise, though the stadium is great.) We've been to Seattle, Dallas and Chicago.

Portland would have been a cool trip, but Belize is a really shitty opponent.

So, SLC it was.

I'm still planning on going to Columbus in September as well.

What a great summer for US Soccer fans.

Only 2009 (14 games, including Brazil twice, Italy, Spain and Mexico twice) in three months comes close.

We (AOs) will have a pre-game party at Fuel in Pioneer Square. (Close to the stadium)

For the night b4 party. It will be at Golazo HQ. We had a two and a half hour meeting with a lot of reps, last night. We have a LOT of stuff going on for this party.

Also, you're flying in. Correct? If so, I have some advice about renting cars n etc.

ETA: If you are staying downtown. Make sure you can keep your car there for freee. Downtown parking is the most expensive in the US. It's like 35$+ to park overnight at some places.

If you are staying downtown...EVERYTHING is walking distance. Capitol Hill and Pioneer Square is walking distance. Also, If you fly into the airport DO NOT TAKE A TAXI TO DOWNTOWN. It'll run you about $45 too. You can take the light link rail for $5. and it's like a 30minute trip to the heart of Downtown (Westlake Center)

Are you bring an AOBR banner or anything like that ? If so, make sure you get it to us (AOSeattle) at the day before game.

ETA: Harry and ETM. If I run into you guys. A beer or two is on me.

ETA: We will have to figure something out. You could always just tweet @AOSeattle n I'll find you.

Got my tickets in the Outlaws section for Seattle.

Any more info on the Golazo party? I've been there a couple of times to watch both Sounders and USA matches.

Yea. We have a bunch of information. We met with them for 2 hours, yesterday. We are still finalizing a bunch of things. So, I don't want to comment on everything, yet. But, it'll be a pretty big party. I don't think anyone will be disappointed. I'll repost once we know 100% on everything, around the middle of the week. Just don't want to jump the gun. :)

It's $2.75 and like 45 minutes to Westlake

ETA: Ride it and enjoy probably the only multicultural MLK Jr Boulevard in the US

You shut your mouth :p

Its obviously not a huge city but it is still a great place. Go to the WWI museum. Go get some barbecue. Go to the plaza. There is plenty to do if you are in for just a couple days.

Cool. We will definitely be down there pregame. Night before no clue though. We are staying with friends so I dont know what they have planned.

We can bump this thread as we get closer but I will be wearing the red third alternate Bradley jersey from the last world cup
