Judging by this call up, it looks like we're riding with Fab at LB this cycle, which is not a bad thing, considering that he is arguably the best at his position in CONCACAF.
That said, it would've been nice to bring back Acosta or call up Villafana to see if either one of them could work their way into that spot in these low risk friendlies so we could shift Fab up the wing.

Why hasn't Robbie Rogers ever gotten another call up? It'd be nice to have some competition back there. Robbie has been a consistent starter and has a good pace. What's jurgens deal with him?

b/c he dribbles out of bounds

Landon's Instagram post with Robbie a few weeks ago made me LOL. People were very mad in the comments section.

Haven't read up, but why are we bringing our A outfielders but our C goalkeepers?

Not really an A-outfield squad either though, depth-wise.
I'm shocked though that Hamid didn't get called up.

Ethan Horvath
Omar Gonzalez
Perry Kitchen
Sacha Kljestan
Christian Pulisic
Danny Williams
Chris Wondolowski
:roll eyes:
Wondolowski is not even in good form in MLS. He is having his worst season in years. I would have given the spot to Rubio Rubin, Ethan Finlay, Jerome Kiesewetter, Khiry Shelton, or Andrew Wooten. All deserve more looks than Wondolowski at this point. Shelton in particular has been playing extremely well for NYC over the last half of the MLS season. Patrick Vieira has repeatedly mentioned him for developing his level of play.

Kind of bummed he's fallen out of favor recently. He looked really good during his call ups earlier this year and looked like he could be a good bench-option/spot starter on either wing for us.

I've heard that Darlington Nagbe is not with the #USMNT this camp due to personal/family reasons

Jorge Villafana > Timmy Chandler

I passed right over Chandler's name. I must have mentally blocked him out. Lichaj captained Forest last week and has been a stalwart in the Championship for years now. Lichaj is significantly better than Chandler.
Villafana starts for Santos over players who cap for El Tri (albeit at LB).

So assuming we roll with a best XI in one of these games (which we probably won't because both are shite), I don't see how this isn't the XI.
Some frick got tired of waiting for a LB call up, so he made the ballsy move of becoming a GK now.

What if I told you that he was actually Scott Sterling?
