Oh i agree, but i usually spend my time screaming at him and wondering why he still gets call up. He didnt embarrass himself. He was at least lively and tried to get into the game.

Corona hasn't played a lot (or any) LM for Tijuana this year. I think he's been primarily in the center and on the right. I think he's going to fall into the Kljestan/Torres hole of decent players that don't have a position that fits their skill set in the national team.

Garza doesn't strike me as a "run to the end line and cross" full back. He seems to want to go forward with 1-2s and work toward the penalty area.

Definitely can't play he and Corona together on the same side. They kept running into each other trying to make the same runs to the same space.

Which is sad and hilarious given they play for the same team. Yeah, I like Garza's style. Definitely different to Shea. I'm not sure which one fits our team better though to be honest.

Shea at his best has to be an intimidating matchup for the shrimps we often play in international soccer.
Wasn't it Klinsmans first Mexico match when Shea looked so promising?

I think Shea's "breakout" game was at Azteca.

Garza and Corona usually don't play near each other for TJ.

Corona was definitely out of position.

To me, Garza is a true defender. Shea in the same position is a little weaker of a defender, but gets forward well.

I was most impressed with Alvarado, Agudelo, Shea, and Bradley. Bradley especially--after that 40 yard hit to Agudelo, he makes a 60 yard sprint to ensure that he's in the box for a rebound.

FYI: The Pels game was on last night. Big applause went up when they finally put the Spurs away.

I just watched the highlights from 8/10/11, JKs first game in charge, and it's definitely the game that made me think Shea was going to be great for us.

I think they could both be good for us. Maybe in qualifying we may see them split time, maybe Shea start for his attacking mindness in games that we know we will dominate possession and then Garza start in games that we know we need a solid back four in, I.E. Mexico, Costa Rica.

I think there's a place for both of them and it's great because I think that lets us move Fab up to LM where he's been playing his club ball.

There nothing Shea has done in the past three months that makes me believe he has the fitness, defensive ability or temperament to be a regular international.

I have no problem envisioning Gio running him ragged down that side and Shea getting caught out, doing something stupid and getting red carded.

I definitely think there's a place for him on the team, but it's as a last 20 minute sub. I think he can be effective, get goals and affect games (greatly) that way.

That's always been my opinion of him as a player
