Channel 251 for cox cable in BR

4-4-2

Spencer Jamieson
Gall Hyndman Canouse(C) Thompson
Requejo Carter-Vickers Miazga Moore

T&T's white keeper is in the Houston Dynamo academy.

The US needs a win or a tie to advance to the next round of qualifying. If they win that knockout game then they get their ticket to the U-20 WC.

Canouse already given a yellow card for a foul in the first minute.

US having trouble with T&T's physicality. Gall almost scores on a counter.

The field is in awful shape. The US looks ok when in possession but struggle on the counter because our backs get caught up field.

We still send a frustrating number of long balls down field to no one and shots from 30 yards out that go 10 yards wide of the net. Decision making could be better.

Blatant hand ball by T&T waved off.

Our crosses from the wings are still pretty bad.

Hyndman, not surprisingly, is looking like our best player.

Good work between Thompson, out to Requejo, then Gall leads to a shot that narrowly misses wide

Tab not happy with the refereeing. Gall gets dragged down after making a challenge on T&T player with the ball and has the ball kicked into his hand (while on the ground). Of course we get called for the hand ball and the initial foul is ignored.

Hyndman shakes and bakes in the box to keep possession against a few challenges and gets a hard shot off that is parried up and controlled by the keeper. Impressive bit of footwork and control.

We keep having good service on the corners from Hyndman. Our headers have been bad though.

Hyndman goes in for a header and almost gets kicked in the face. Referee calls a phantom foul against Hyndman.

Another solid corner and we get a head on it but fail to direct it towards goal.

Cameron Carter-Vickers having words with the referee.

Finally put it together in the end. Jamieson's positioning was great on that play. Thompson has fantastic footwork but needs to work on his final ball. Hyndman again a cut above everyone else. Carter-Vickers is a fricking physical specimen. LSU fricking represent.
