I'm thinking the 3rd place game will be more exciting than the final on Sunday.

Nerves won't affect the game, and Uruguay and Germany will be playing wide open with nothing to lose.

Plus, Suarez and Muller will be back. Should be some good football.

If both teams field a good squad it should be a good game. Germany should win but these games are hard to call.

Who cares?

Philip Lahm doesn't.

I have a feeling Uruguay may try a little harder in the game, don't know why, I just feel it may mean more to them. Germany has prolly gotten used to these third place games.

I wonder if Lugano will play for Uruguay. That will be crucial if they want any chance to win.

I have the Germans winning 3-1, with Muller back in the line-up and Klose looking for a shot at tying or even surpassing Ronaldo for the most goals in the World Cup.

Lugano as well. He was sorely missed in the central defense for Uraguay. Hopefully he is fit.

Will each team give their A effort? If so, then Mueller will score 2 goals. But since game isn't played on paper who knows?

The million dollar question. Uraguay has more to play for, but if Germany gets an early goal it could be a rout.

I wish this game wouldn't be played. It opens up the possibility of injury heading into the club season. I will watch and thankfully no Arsenal players are playing tomorrow.

The gameplan should be get the ball to Miro. If Miro's in the box play it to him. Break the record Klose.

History. I love when it happens. I have to DVR the match because I am doing a 24 hour fly from NO to Philly for a funeral tonight. I would love to see Klose set the record.

Yesterday, Uruguay coach said Lugano and Forlan will both play.

Lugano has strained ligaments. This game means a LOT more to Uruguay than to Germany.

I hope Suarez scores early and we have an interesting match.

I think its gonna be Germany and maybe by a couple-a-few. Uraghey looked like they were phoning it in, and I think Germany is gonna want to prove something.

LOL at Uruguay and Germany for playing in a consolation game. What are they, 8 years old?
