UPDATE: March 5

Hey, there's a home one going around Twitter, too. It's bad, too!

#FireEveryone

This is all over Twitter right now. It deserves to have its own thread.

From NBCSports:

quote:

Is this the leaked USMNT “road” jersey for the summer’s Copa America Centenario?

While the hosts will not be on the road, this black — for summer! — shirt has blue and red sleeves to go with the “leaked” logo of this August.

It’s worth noting that the Yanks could also be playing in the Olympics, so several versions of U.S. tops could be in the works.

What do you think? The logo hasn’t grown on me at all, and I’m hoping this is strictly a warm-up shirt (though the numbers will go a long way to determining the final look.

I mean... come on, Nike. This is worse than a knockoff.

Just downright hideous.

I hate Nike.

Some on this board complain about Adidas. I'll take Adidas over Nike every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Like, we made fun of the golf polos and even the bomb pops... and the terrible numbers on the hoops at one point...

But this is a real travesty.

I'd love for the USSF to let Under Armour take a crack at the national team kits if they want to keep an American company on board.

Most of the kits they make for club teams are simple and clean.

I can go buy a much better looking jersey off the rack at Academy Sports for $15.

Yeah, the crest was leaked a while back. I think it's a slight improvement to the current one.

Still think they should hire GeauxColonels to give them the Centennial + Don't Tread one he made.

I like the crest. The kit itself looks like a Walmart knockoff version of an actual kit. The current blue kits are also shite. Why we can't have something like South Korea puzzles me

Even the 'Merica frick yea come get some kits are better than that abomination

Nikes "blackout" obsession needs to stick to gimmicky college football teams

Whoever designed this needs to be shot in front of his or her family.

I will literally become a Russia fan with Mr. Personality if that happens.

UA is total shite. Even worse than Adidas.

ETA: The kit isn't great looking, I'll admit that.

Words can't express how horrible these kits are. Bring back the denim kits.

Guilty as charged

ETA: UA or anyone else for that matter will have still have to wait awhile for their shot.

US Soccer and Nike signed a nine-year deal back in 2013 and when it's over Nike will have been the official kit sponsor for 25+ years. Don't see that changing anytime soon.

But that's the problem. They're allowed to just make shite like this. How the frick is this acceptable? I have a bomb pop and a candy cane jersey...this is the worst thing I've ever seen. Give me faux denim over this shite

I will admit that Nike for some reason tries way to hard with the US kits. I prefer the plane white England ones, or the all red Portugal ones to the bomb pop or whatever, even though I liked the bomb pop kit.

Now when you say the problem is, is that Nike is allowed to make this stuff, I mean you have to understand that the federation is likely who gives the green ligh. I'd be shocked if they just tell Nike just give us something to wear.

Regardless, anything is better than the freaking white and blue shite ones we've had for awhile now.
