I wouldn't say that. Honduras has been in (slightly) better form but they aren't superior. Based on talent alone the US should win this fairly easily, but it's the US, you know we'll mess up somewhere

Oh believe me there is. I, like most Central Americans, despise Mexicans and their garbage national team

Off topic, but:
You're from Honduras, is that anything like Guatemala? I went there last summer and loved it, would love to go back to Central America but can't decide where

Costa Rica bruh. Honduras is like the murder capital of the Western Hemisphere

ETA: I said Western Hemisphere but actually it's the entire planet
quote:

Honduras has the highest murder rate in the world, with 90.4 homicides per 100,000 people.[2] The international average intentional homicide rate, by comparison, is 6.2 per 100,000 people, as per the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime)[3]

Honduras has a crime problem but I highly recommend Nicaragua. Beautiful beaches, lots of things to do and very safe

Dempsey has been going 90 for Seattle and it's possible he starts tonight. For what it's worth, Ives and Greg Seltzer both think he does.

Honestly, I'm ok with it. Dempsey has been clutch for us lately despite what pvilleguru will tell you. Look at his every touch video from the Ecuador game in the copa America:

We need a guy like this on the field for us.

Matt Doyle thinks we go 4-4-2. I suspect Altidore would play higher and Dempsey would move into the hole as necessary while also spending time staying high (see: that Ecuador game). I've never been a fan of Dempsey and Altidore paired together up top but I'm willing to see how Arena can try to make it work.

I feel like he's a pretty underrated passer. Gets a bit overlooked but he really does so many things very well. Even if his workrate isn't great.

Lol I will never understand the shite Jozy gets from this board.

Guy definitely underperforms for his club, at least in Europe, but i just don't get how anyone can question his resume and success internationally.

In all honesty. I hate when Honduras plays the USA. I love both my countries.
