There's this Clint Dempsey guy who has a pretty good touch....

I agree with Glassman, this is the most negative I've ever seen a match thread before a game. Yall motherfrickers need Jesus

It is so bizarre. We are playing in one of the historical cradles of our country and all we get is negative vibes..

The spirit of Keller will inhabit Guzan tonight and we beat Brazil for the second time.

As far as Alvarado and Orozco playing, it's because they are about the only CBs left unless you want to put Spector there.

Omar isn't any better than those two.

See this is fricking bullshite Jurgen. If you tell us you're experimenting then this lineup is still shite. But when he tells us that he's getting things ready for Mexico in October then WHAT THE frick is this lineup? Bedoya at DM? Alvarado and Orozco at CB?? Our best 2 CB's are playing fullback. I'm a fan of Klinsmann but this shite is starting to wear on me. These picks make no sense.

To be fair...

Klinsmann said Johnson (right) and Beasley (left) are preferred FB choices. Brooks' absence makes it three likely DF starters out. #USMNT

All things considered... our best backline is DMB-Brooks-Besler-Fab and none of those guys are available tonight.

You really want Yedlin at RB right now? I see Cameron starting at RB against Mexico. If I were to pick the back line vs. Mexico, I think it would be (Beasley)Ream-Besler-Brooks-Cameron.

No, but I do want him there over allowing Alvarado to play in central defense.

It's going to be Beasley-Alvarado-Brooks-Johnson/Cameron

I don't think he'll start Alvarado over Besler in a game of this magnitude. I think he sees Besler and Brooks as the two best CBs right now.

Did he not just say Alvarado was starting?
