What is Bacon's status? Still coming back from injury?
Kind of. He's back, just hasn't worked his way into the starting line up. Same situation as Boyd.

Well we did already start 4 points behind schedule.

3 of those were against the toughest team we'll play at home. The other 1 is against the 2nd toughest road game.

Win at home. Draw on the road. That's 20 points and a virtual lock for first or second.

Have you already forgot the loss to Mexico in the Hex at home?

Agreed. Panama's back line is solid

I hate how the announcers are making it seem that a draw is good enough.
A draw is good enough

I don't agree. With the form they showed and the confidence they had they should have been much more aggressive. It was kinda pathetic really.

Dempsey seemed to take a decent hit there. I think you could stab someone on the pitch and just get a talking to.

I mean, yeah, the performance wasn't good at all, but that doesn't mean the result is just as bad.

Understandable. I just hate the idea that a draw v Panama, regardless of where the game is played, is looked at as a good result. I get all the CONCACAF variables contribute to these weird road games, but it still bugs me that a win isn't expected.

Just three points behind 2nd place Costa Rica, who are looking rough these days. Decent point on the road. Get healthy and get after T&T in the next round.

With the back line in shambles, I'm okay with not being over aggressive. If we had Brooks, Cameron, and Yedlin starting it would be different.

Yeah, I mean this is one injury-riddled team right now. It's an onslaught.

The 4th place team last time finished with 11 points. We are currently in 4th and only 3 points from a tie for 2nd.

4 points in 4 games sounds bad on the surface, but considering the first two games were really tough, you can't really complain about 1 point on the road with a very makeshift lineup.

We win the rest of the home games, and we'll be fine, and we should beat Trinidad away. That's a minimum 16 points, and maybe we can steal a result away to Honduras or even Mexico.

Given where we were Thursday, fourth place looks much better. It would be very tough to pass Mexico, but we can finish second in the Hex if we play to our potential.

Well yedlin doesn't matter. He has no talent. Brooks and Cameron being out certainly wasn't helpful but they had zero creativity the entire game. Looked like the last couple of games under Jurgen.

I get that. Just saying the goal pace of 20 in general.

Panama has only allowed 2 goals through 4 games. They have a good defense and it was always going to be tough to score against them on the road.
