I was thinking about going to the semifinals in Atlanta but this small crowd/bad atmosphere in Baltimore has me wondering if it would even be worth it or not.

I dont understand why you think the atmosphere in Baltimore would have anything to do with you enjoying watching US soccer advance to the finals. fricking go.

I don't see how it wouldn't bother you. Its the national anthem. The whole point is to display your pride in your country by signing along with it.

As a whole, Americans tend to take a more respectful view of the anthem. We salute the flag while someone else sings. As long as they are showing proper respect, let each person act as they will.

Last post about this, no need for thread hijack. I just feel if you are representing the national team you sing/lip sync the anthem. When you are with your club team...who cares? Just be respectful. But if you are lucky enough to be chosen for that team you show that pride.

In other news, Dempsey is on fire. He needs to rip up referees notebook more often!

This is really the big takeaway.

Lol I went to the semi's in 2013 when we basically were a opening match for the Mexico and Panama game. There was NO US people there and we were surrounded by El Tri fans. Still had a blast.

Cuba's a glorified pub team, so I hope people aren't reading anything into this (unless we somehow lose).

I don't think anyone is. This is just an extra scrimmage before the semis.

The best thing to read into it is how sharp certain guys are.

Like AJo just whiffing on that cross from Alejandro wasn't good.

I just saw my first glimpse of the crowd. That is depressing.

Zardes just isn't a starter for me. Great bench guy, like Yedlin, to run at guys when legs are tried. But no touch or technique.

I said this in another thread last night, but Sebastian Lletget is exactly what we need on the left. Push Alejandro to the right and we've got our outside mids
