Maybe it's happened in other leagues since Arsenal in 2003-2004 but do you guys think something like it can happen again? For the Premier League I say no. A lot has happened in the league since that season

Spurs and City won't be battling out of relegation zone for a while.

Yeah, it happened in Serie A season before last... Actually, Juventus went unbeaten for 49 matches over the span of a couple seasons...

Porto did it last year in the Premeira Liga

It could happen again in EPL

It would have to be from a really, really great team. The parity in the Prem makes it damn near impossible in this era.

I don't see how I missed Juventus but I really don't follow Serie A that much. If it happens this year in the EPL Chelsea might be the best bet unless MU gets some more transfers in .

The following year, Chelsea lost one game. Since then, there have been two and three loss teams that didn't even win the league. It certainly seems possible, although obviously very difficult.

I think a lot of it has to do with a bit of luck. Between league play, the League Cup, Europe, and the FA Cup you have to keep injuries at a minimal or have some pretty great players on the bench.
