It wouldn't shock me if England throttled Wales. Bale gave them bulletin board material with his comments last week and England has dominated the Welsh throughout the years of their rivalry.

I would love to see uefa drop the hammer on both countries because of these stupid thugs. That would stun them and make them take this seriously and responsibly.

I'm curious how England can police this off their own soil? I can think of putting names on a list that can't buy tickets, but that's easily thwarted.
Are we just assuming if the national team is threatened with a ban this will stop? Is there other options? It's Europe, so I imagine they have leeway to ban these people from traveling out of country on dates around games. They don't have the same rights we enjoy here but I don't know all the particulars.
Of course if they can't play they can't riot, but once they are off suspension it will just happen again.

England is one of the best in the world at policing its fans as tough as that may seem at the moment
100s of banning orders are on fans, I've read that after the first two UK police moved to take away passports of people who they thought may go over to join the trouble even if they didn't have banning orders
You can't stop everyone but the reality is England/UK have made moves some countries such as France and Germany have since copied. Eastern Europe however hasn't caught up with it, probably because they are 40 years too late to the party
