What a joke. In baseball, failing 7-10 times will get you into the hall of fame

In football, at least 4-5 professionals lose a rep every time the ball is snapped. Professional keepers give up a goal in a game more than they keep a clean sheet.

Professional basketball players miss free throws 20% of the time, and they're considered great free throw shooters. There's no one guarding the net in this case. What a stupid fricking line of thought

You don't lke Jordan Morris because he's better looking than you. Says all we need to know about you.

But to hold it against him for his entire life for 1 PK is absurd.

And against a 17 year old playing in the U20 WC.

McCraig or whatever has to be a troll. Either that or a "once every 4 years" fan who doesn't want to be a soccer fan but finds himself drawn to the sport. His inner conflict about the sport makes him say really stupid shite in hopes that eventually he'll overcome his enjoyment.

I mean from that penalty chance in the WC he needs to improve. I will always hold him accountable for that choke. Couldn't even put the ball on target.

Sign out. He was the best player on the field and it wasn't close.

Haha okay Chief.

I've been an avid poster on this board since I found it at the beginning of the BPL season and I've been watching the sport, both national team tournaments and BPL on a consistent basis since 2006. It's funny, because it seems that most of the people calling me out for not knowing anything aren't names I recognize or am used to seeing on here, other than EastNasty. If you posted on this board regularly then I think my name would be familiar. Also, if you are then I apologize. I enjoy interacting with this board because there's usually good convo and also a bit of educated arguing going on.

I'm not saying anyone has to agree with me, but that's just my opinion. Me not liking a player shouldn't effect anyone else.

Personally I thought Zelalem was.

So you're just a dumbass then for expecting a 17 year old center back to covert a PK?

No. I'm expecting a kid who has likely been kicking a soccer ball since he's been able to stand to put it on target and not sky the shite out of it.

I know that happens. People miss PK's all the time. But when I put my time into something like being a fan and also spend money doing it, it aggravates the shite out of me to see someone who does something for a living not at least give themselves an opportunity to succeed.

I'm not saying the kid sucks at life, is a failure or anything of the sort. I'm saying I don't like him after he choked. I guarantee he doesn't give a frick what I think so I don't see why you all are getting so riled up about me not liking him either.

Lol so when you invest time and money in something you don't expect it to get better or increase in value?

1) that's such an asinine statement, these guys aren't playing for you.

2) You don't think CCV got better over the course of the tourney?

So you don't think they care how they do for their country or the people who live there? Not every professional player is out there for personal glory.

He did. He was one of the best players we had out there. I thought Zelalem was better personally, but he was definitely right behind him. I'm just saying the way it ended and how he ended the tournament was a disappointment, and I'm sure he would admit that also.

Sure, but you are acting like him missing the PK was a personal disservice to you and that he should make amends, which is laughable.

And even then, is a 17 year old not prone to mistakes, especially in spots he isn't used to being in.
