Nothing to be ashamed of today. Deserved a point today no doubt. Played City well enough to get 3 points but a lot of bad luck mixed in there in this one.

A frustrating one no doubt with a lot of chances missed. Effort was top notch.

Except that was definitely a penalty early on, and you should have had a player off

Incidental tripping has never warranted a sending off, what the hell are you on about?

Nope

I would have given a PK for the slide tackle on Kane in the box before I would have called this.

I don't know if it was bad luck as much as it was poor execution, and rather poor play all around. Mason is a passenger, Chadli and Lamela are wasteful, Eriksen has had 1 goal and 2 assists in his last ten, and Kane is rather starved of chances even though he has pretty excellent movement. Chadli and Lamela hold onto the ball far too much, as do Townsend and Dembele, and Spurs just lack that player to make them "work" in the same way Modric did. I think Eriksen could be that player, but he has to impose himself on games more. He, like Mason, appear to coast through games at times. Mason seems frightened of making a forward pass, while Lloris is overeager to come out, and has to be blamed for being beaten near post. I don't think Dier is a RB, but he's had some good deliveries.

It's a shame that Spurs appeared to have wasted the Bale money, as they could have been sitting pretty for years to come. Soldado and Lamela are massive busts, and Spurs paid a hell of a lot for a bench player in Paulinho. I don't quite understand why they don't do better, as on paper it looks an impressive squad.

No way that should have been a sending off, but I wouldn't expect you to understand.

I'm not even sure we can say that we deserved a point, to be honest. I think City should have been given that penalty, and we wasted way too many chances. We just aren't very good in the final third. I actually thought that this was Lamela's best game for us....not saying much, I know.

We should have been up 2 in the first 3 minutes. Our finishing is shite. Eriksen looks tired and now he's playing like he knows his spot is guaranteed.

Lamela played well today if he did that every week he wouldn't be labeled as such a bust

Well it's time to light this bitch on fire. Get rid of every defender we have and start fresh.

Where do we find defenders? Nobody really has them. The big clubs are supposedly looking at our own Danny Rose. And it feels like there are no great central defenders out there. I think we just need to put less pressure on the back 4 by having real possession both wide and centrally.

Well that's kind of a double edged sword. You have to have a great pair of central defenders to hold down the back line when controlling possession. Our counter attack has netted maybe 2 goals in the last two months. While our opponents counter has absolutely destroyed us.

But if we can get some better midfield play like you said, I think we only solve 1 major problem. We have to replace Chadli, Mason, Lamela, and possibly move Eriksen in the starting 11.

We won't, but I'd love to gamble on Yaya.

I'd love Yaya. I think we need some good experience in the mix. His passing is still quite good, but his injury proneness scares me.

I'm starting to think Eriksen might work well as a defensive midfielder. He doesn't seem to like playing around the box all that much.

Eriksen isn't good enough defensively to play defensive mid. We need a real enforcer who can keep teams from countering on us.

Are we tanking to avoid Europa? I see no other explanation for starting Chiriches.

Should be playing with the under 21s in my opinion. Dude doesn't deserve a first team spot on any squad in the premier league.

Looks like Spurs will unveil the 2015-16 home kits on Facebook this Friday:

At first, it was thought that this was going to be a pretty traditional look with a rather plain white shirt. But, upon closer inspection, it looks like they're going to have a stylized sash across the front of the shirt.

Here's a mock-up from one website as to what one person is predicting:
