Yep... Consider club level played in your thought process...

Lol donovan is nowhere close to No. 1 for club. He hardly tested himself.

Scoring most goals in MLS history has to count for something.

Add Onyewu to the list.

Didn't Eric Wynalda lead the Bundesliga in scoring for a few years? He has to rank near the top.

How do you have Dempsey for National team but not for club?

He had the best season of any American in the EPL ever.

It's your opinion about the best EPL season.

Dempsey had a couple good seasons, and I think he's near the same level as the rest. Brian McBride also had a couple of great seasons for Fulham, also helping them avoid relegation with timely goals. If you want to make an argument that he belongs on your top five for club instead of McBride, I have no beef with your opinion - mine just differs.

Cherundolo, Reyna, Donovan, and Howard were all long time leaders and stalwarts at their clubs and there is almost zero argument to be made that Dempsey was a better club team player than them.

I didn't rank them in any numerical order. That's just my top ten. My cabinet, if you will.

No but Wynalda had a great year in 2. Bundesliga where he was named top player.
